Are You Ready to Play Christmas TV Movie Bingo?
December – it’s the month that brings the magic! It’s also the month that makes us wish work days were shorter, if only to rush home and binge watch every Christmas TV movie ever made. Sure there are the classic holiday films – Home Alone, Love Actually, Miracle on 34th Street (the Mara Wilson one of course)…in fact, just check out our 15 Movies to Get You in the Christmas Spirit! But TV Christmas movies (typically Hallmark, occasionally Lifetime and now Netflix) are on a level of their own. Words you might hear to describe these movies: lame, predictable, cliché and unwatchable. Words I might use to describe them: delightful, festive, fun and heart-warming. Whether you watch them to have a laugh or genuinely enjoy their Christmas spirit, they’re good festive season value.
To help elevate the fun, we’ve created a game of bingo for you to play while watching! You can either print off the table below or do the modern day thing and screenshot it and play on your phone. Each box contains a typical Christmas TV movie cliché (e.g. The movie stars a child star from the 90s – keep your eyes peeled for Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar!). Make yourself some hot chocolate, throw on a Christmas TV movie and see how many you can cross off!

Riverdale Recap: Chapter 19, Death Proof
It’s been a loooong week but we finally made it! For Bughead shippers, in particular, it felt like 536 years since the last episode. We are 6 episodes in and so far we have learned that the Riverdale writers want to put Bughead shippers in an early grave, Jingle Jangle is here to stay and that everyone will dress with absolutely no regard to what the current season may or may not be. Here’s our recap of the best bits of Chapter 19 – Death Proof.
Riverdale Recap: Chapter 18, When a Stranger Calls
When I found out that there would be a Betty-centric Riverdale episode titled ‘When a Stranger Calls’, I freaked out because a) I am a Betty stan through and through and b) When a Stranger Calls is one of the greatest horror movies of all times. This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, I cried, I cringed, I yelled at the TV – my four standard Riverdale reactions now that I think about. Keep reading for the best bits of Chapter 18 – When a Stranger Calls.

Riverdale Recap: Chapter 17, The Town That Dreaded Sundown
This episode of Riverdale is brought to you by a cypher (I learnt a new word this week, kids), high school boys making shitty decisions and the reinforcement of librarian stereotypes (Tsk! Tsk!). Here’s our recap of the best bits of Chapter 17 – The Town That Dreaded Sundown.

Historical Dramas on Netflix Australia: Part 1
I love historical dramas. Any time I see some sort of period costume I immediately am intrigued. What time period is it set? Where is it set? Is it a true story? Does it have a hunky love interest? Ok that last one isn’t very specific to the genre, but it’s still an important question.
There’s a mountain of historical dramas on Netflix Australia so I’ve put together a list of some of the ones I’ve been watching recently as well as some of the ones that are next on my to watch list.

Riverdale Recap: Chapter 16, The Watcher in the Woods
Welcome to another week of Riverdale where, thankfully, *SPOILER ALERT*, no one dies. I swear the Riverdale writers are trying to send fans to an early grave with all of this drama. Keep reading for our recap of the best bits of Chapter 16 – The Watcher in the Woods.
