How to Host a BTS Comeback Party

BTS Comeback Party

Annyeonghaseyo ARMY!

We are all anxiously waiting for BTS to release the final part in their Love Yourself series, ‘Love Yourself: Answer’, this Friday the 24 August.

The release of the album’s comeback trailer ‘Epiphany’ last week exceeded all expectations and we are all counting down the days until we have more new music, more music videos and answers to the narrative that has been weaved into BTS’ work through a variety of platforms (music videos, trailers, notes, etc.) since 2016.

If you’re lucky enough to have friends that are also BTS fans, the comeback is a great chance to gather around and share the crazy rollercoaster ride of emotions that is a BTS comeback. If you currently don’t have any friends in your real life who are fans, I would strongly suggest that you start converting them ASAP.

I’ve put together a guide on how to host your own BTS comeback party. Let’s get it!

Places to Eat Whole30 in Melbourne

Whole30 Melbourne

Whole30, as the name suggests, is a diet that’s all about eating whole foods. For 30 days you are only allowed to eat moderate portions of meat, seafood and eggs; lots of veggies; some fruit; natural fats; herbs and spices. The idea behind the challenge is to eliminate foods that could be having a negative impact on your health – such as, sugar, dairy, grains, legumes and alcohol. The rules are pretty strict, and having recently completed the Whole30, I know first hand how difficult it can be to complete. It would have been impossible for me to finish the challenge if I hadn’t done loads of meal-prepping and planning ahead.

One of the hardest parts was trying to find places to eat Whole30 in Melbourne. After doing research, reading restaurant menus and analysing photos of food online, I was able to come up with a list of places in Melbourne that appear to have Whole30 foods. I wasn’t able to try all of these places while I was doing the Whole30 (to be honest I was a little terrified of eating out and accidentally eating the wrong thing) but they all seem to have offerings that you could safely eat. It is always good though to ask your waiter/waitress about how the food is cooked/prepared if you are unsure. Here are places to eat Whole30 in Melbourne:

Places to Visit in the Yarra Valley, Melbourne, Australia

There is so much on offer in the Yarra Valley – wineries, breweries, restaurants as well as places to splurge on cheese and chocolate. And I am so lucky that it is all basically in my backyard.

Now I don’t want to give the impression that I’ve been everywhere there is to go in the Yarra Valley, but this list is more of a collection of places I’ve been to recently and a few that are next on my list to visit. So if you are planning a day trip out to this beautiful place, or if you live somewhat locally and are looking for somewhere new to try then read on. There is really something for every occasion.

10 Things You Must Eat in Japan

Japan Must EatsIf there is one thing you should know before going to Japan it’s that the food is amazing. Make sure you bring your appetite before visiting the Land of the Rising Sun because you are not going to want to miss out on any of the food on offer. I personally found that the standard of food in Japan is much higher than in other places I have traveled. I could confidently walk into any restaurant and know that I was most likely going to have an excellent meal made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection.

Since I only spent 10 days in Japan I wasn’t able to eat all the things, but I sure did give it the old college try. There are probably some glaringly obvious things that I missed so leave a comment below and let me know what your Japan must eats are.

10 Places You Must Eat At in Seminyak, Bali

Bali

Seminyak, to me, is food, food, food (with a bit of beach and shopping in between). I ate my way through five days in Seminyak and felt like I never needed to eat again by the time I left. On reflection, the sad thing is I barely ate any local food. But when you see this list (which is in no particular order), you’ll see you can’t stay sad for long. Because there are some really, really good places to eat in Seminyak. Especially if you love brunching. Which I do.

10 Places You Must Eat At in Ubud, Bali

bali

Bali has become somewhat of a foodie haven of late. While Ubud has certainly become more touristy since the Eat, Pray, Love phenomenon, it is still a relaxed and tranquil sort of a place (seriously, take a yoga class while you’re in town). It’s also quite the scene for fresh and delicious food – there’s a distinctly hippy, eco-friendly vibe. Food is also super cheap – so there’s no reason why you can’t eat and eat and eat and eat on your next visit. So, in no particular order, here are ten highly-recommended places to eat at in Ubud, Bali.

6 Things You Must Eat in Canada

I’m not your typical foodie. I don’t normally research a lot of places to eat before I go on holiday. I’m more of a ‘eat wherever I find myself’ person (please don’t hate me!). But my recent trip to Canada may have changed all that. I found myself searching for particular foods I’d heard about and taking photos of my meals before I started tucking in. There’s so many things that you must eat and some of them can only be found in Canada. So if you’re planning your next trip, or are even just a food fan, then you’ve really got to check out these culinary highlights. For non-food related highlights check out the Best of Canada.
